KRABI, KOH LANTA & ROK NOK

KRABI

This beautiful province is not only full of rainforests and beaches, but it also has many waterfalls, hidden caves and lopsided limestone cliffs. Although yachts don’t generally go direct to town Krabi, you will be able to visit Ao Nang and Rai Ley beach. The natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere along with the rock formations makes Krabi the ideal location for those interested in rock climbing, whether you are a beginner or experienced climber. There are some well established routes which you can choose to climb yourself, or seek the help of a professional for instructions and equipment.

KOH LANTA

Nestled between Krabi and Phuket, Lanta is the ideal location to contemplate life while admiring the scenery. Since it is not a very easily accessible island with fewer attractions, many tourists choose to give it a miss. However, if you do choose to explore out of curiosity, you will find a whole new world of serenity free from the hustle and bustle of typical tourist locations. The Eastern shore provides many good anchorage spots. You might also come across the community of indigenous sea gypsies, who have maintained their traditional rituals and customs on Koh Lanta.

ROK NOK

Situated just under 50 miles southeast of Phuket, Koh Rok Nok is a set of two islands divided by a channel, which provides the perfect anchorage spots. Despite being sometimes called the best diving and snorkeling location, this island is almost completely devoid of tourism and facilities. Aside from water activities, the main attraction is a peculiar shrine, which contains statues depicting phallic shapes.
