Situated in Southern Thailand, 860 km from Bangkok, Phuket is the largest island of the country, teeming with exotic wildlife and rainforests, with a perimeter of virgin sandy beaches and some of the most famous holiday resorts. Phuket offers to spoil you with massages and spa treatments right next to the clear waters after a long day of shopping, which will recharge your batteries to enjoy the night life of towns like Patong and Kamala. If the party scene is not your cup of tea, you can enjoy a quieter atmosphere in Kata, Karon and Nai Harn beaches in the south, and Surin beach on the North. Phuket International Airport has flights from several parts of Europe and Asia arriving daily.

Whether you are an experienced or first time yachtsman, you will have a variety of choices for sailing yachts and charter options in Phuket. Phuket is also the best place to get all the provisioning for your charter done with many major commercial supermarkets like Big C, Tesco Lotus and Village Market located all over the island.

SweetDreamers’s office is located in Chalong on the south east coast of Phuket. This is also the location for the most of our crewed sailing yachts, and from here we are starting the most of our sailing tours. Chalong is 45 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Phuket Town. Chalong has just about every type of restaurant. Delicious and cheap local Thai food is available as well as Italian, Indian, fish and chips and fresh bakery. Chalong has numerous beach front bars and street bars catering for a quiet, relaxed feeling for families and ranging to adult themes. Accommodation in Chalong ranges from 600 Baht for a room to 5 stars resorts. Chalong is very good spot to stay before going out on the water for sail as it is only a short walk to the sailing yachts. To explore the Phuket island you have different transport options, like taxi, tuk tuk, public bus or you can rent a car or motorbike.
